I bought some really cute custard dishes today so I am going to make one of my mom's favorite recipes:

CUSTARD

2 eggs                                                              Bake at 350 degrees
1 cup of hot milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 teasp vanilla
'dash of salt'

Beat eggs slightly, add vanilla and sugar...beat again.  Add hot milk and mix to egg mixture;
Pour into my really cute custard dishes.  Place in a pan of water and cook in oven.

To test use knife if it comes out clean custard is done.  I baked it for about 35 minutes. Knife did not come out completely clean but I couldn't wait any longer.

Here is my custard, I sprinkled a little nutmeg on the top...It tasted yummie!
